Poor performance

description

I have a Lua file that's about 5000 lines long. With this extension enabled, it was taking close to a second between keypresses in Lua files. Other files (.cpp, .h) were fine. I rebooted and it didn't fix the problem. When I disabled this extension, performace in Lua files went back to normal.

Visual Studio 2010, Windows 7 SP1, 64 bit, 16 GB Ram, Xeon E5-2690 @ 2.90 GHz CPU, C drive with OS and Visual Studio is a 160 GB SSD, data on a 300 GB SATA drive.

I am having similar problems; the editor is already starting to slow down with a Lua file that's about half the length of yours.

Did you find any workaround for this? I suppose in principle it would be possible to optimize the extension by editing the source code, but that's beyond my skill level.
