Hello all

I would be interested in using this useful plugin with VS 2005.

I'll probably have a look to your good work and see how I can port it to VS2005. But I wonder if someone already worked on this subject ?

n.b: I've used http://luaforge.net/projects/lualangpack/ for a while but code highlighting is sometimes wrong after those kinds of comments --[[ ]]

Backporting the plugin to VS 2005 wouldn't be too large of a task since the architecture is very similar. I avoided doing this since I was primarily working with VS 2008 and I didn't want to compete with LuaLangPack. I really like that plugin and it served as my motivation to create a 2008 version :) You'll need to make several minor changes to the code to support the older version of C#. Myself and the Irony project took advantage of extremely useful features of .net 3.5 to simplify the code base but there's nothing in there that could not be back ported. You'll also need a new package load key that is registered for VS 2005. -Shaun

Thanks a lot for those guidelines Shaun.

I'll let you know if I can achieve this.
